ALDI Mobile refresh adds 26.5GB across five plans

ALDI Mobile has become the latest telco to jump on board the data boost train, adding 26.5GB across its suite of five 30-day recharge prepaid plans.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of competitor OVO's plan overhaul and following in the wake of big data ramp-ups from the likes of Boost Mobile, amaysim, Telstra prepaid and others.

As of today, ALDI Mobile 30-day recharges are follows:

2.5GB up from 2GB for $15 per month
14GB up from 9GB for $25 per month
26GB up from 20GB for $35 per month
37GB up from 30GB for $45 per month
48GB up from 40GB for $55 per month

All plans come with unlimited talk and text and are powered by the Telstra wholesale network. ALDI Mobile plans also come with continuous data rollover. And whereas previously rollover was capped at a max of 30GB, there is now no mention on the ALDI Mobile website of a limit on data banking.

But while ALDI Mobile customers will be sure to appreciate the bump up, ALDI Mobile's plans are still not the most competitive on the market today. A spend of $30 can now easily net you 20GB-30GB, depending on the provider. Note that some plans below offer big data bonuses for a limited time, beyond which, data inclusions will revert to a lower monthly allowance.
