amaysim adds new top end plan with 60GB

amaysim has expanded its family of prepaid plans with a new top-tier offer: 60GB for $60 per recharge. The plan also includes unlimited talk and text, unlimited international talk and text to 10 countries, and 300 international minutes for a further 22. As with all amaysim plans, it's sold as a recharge with a 28-day expiry.

While $1 per gigabyte might sound pretty good, it's possible to get more data for less if you're willing to commit to a contract. Optus will do 50GB for $45 per month on a 12-month contract, Think Mobile has an 80GB for $48 per month plan, and amaysim stablemate Vaya offers 60GB for $56 per month if you commit to half-a-year.

As it stands, amaysim has the cheapest contract-free 60GB plan. It is however important to remember that a 28-day recharge means you're topping up 13 times per year, rather than 12.
