ALDI Mobile has announced that all its prepaid Value plans will now offer data rollover to a maximum of 30GB with no expiry date. ALDI Mobile plans previously allowed data to roll over only into the next credit period.
The change brings ALDI Mobile in line with what has now become the industry standard for data rollover: indefinite rollover to a set maximum amount. Other carriers that currently offer data rollover include:
- Belong mobile – unlimited data banking
- Telstra prepaid – indefinite data banking up to 50GB, when you recharge $30+ before expiry
- Optus prepaid – indefinite data rollover up to 50GB on Epic Data and Epic Value plans, when you recharge before expiry
- Woolworths prepaid – indefinite data rollover up to 15GB, when you recharge before expiry
- Boost mobile – data rollover for use within the next recharge period, when you recharge before expiry
To be eligible for ALDI Mobile data rollover, you must recharge an eligible pack within 24 hours of expiry, choosing a Value Pack with the same amount of credit or higher.
ALDI Mobile has also increased the data offering for its XXL plan from 17GB for $45 to 20GB for $45, and its Jumbo plan from 22GB for $55 to 30GB for $55.

Meanwhile, for the next four weeks ALDI is offering a data-only pack of 240GB for $395. That works out to 20GB for only $33 per month. This is by far the best price for 20GB per month you can get on a data-SIM right now, with the closest offering being Exetel's 25GB data-SIM plan for $44.99 per month.
ALDI Mobile offers all its plans on the Telstra 4G network.
