Every iPrimus NBN plan is getting a price rise

iPrimus has announced its upcoming NBN price rises for 2026, which will kick in on July 1 for new customers and for the first invoice after July 1 for existing ones.

The rising costs are standard across the industry this time of year, as NBN Co prepares to raise the fees telcos pay for access to the network. We’ve already seen announcements from several providers, including Telstra, Optus, Aussie Broadband, and iPrimus’ sibling company Dodo, among others.

The approach iPrimus has taken is refreshingly simple: a flat $3 per month increase on every one of its NBN plans. Here’s a quick overview of new versus current pricing:

Speed Tier	Old price	New price	Price increase
NBN 25	$77	$80	$3
NBN 50	$87	$90	$3
NBN 100	$97	$100	$3
NBN 500	$97	$100	$3
NBN 750	$104	$107	$3
NBN 1000	$119	$122	$3
Fixed Wireless NBN 25	$77	$80	$3
Fixed Wireless NBN 50	$87	$90	$3

When you consider these price hikes apply to all of iPrimus’ plans, the increase on the whole could be seen as larger than some other providers – particularly Dodo, which only increased the price of its NBN 15, NBN 25, and NBN 50 plans by $2 while leaving the rest untouched.

But iPrimus has also bucked a trend we've seen so far of providers who keep NBN 100 and NBN 500 plans at the same price, while expecting customers on their lowest-cost plans to foot the new bill.

Either way, NBN price rises are a good time to re-elevate your plan. Many providers offer honeymoon discounts: savings for new customers that tend to last between six months and a year. Most NBN plans are contract-free, so switching between discounted plans is a relatively simple solution for a lower NBN bill.
