Dodo’s cheapest NBN plans are going up by $2 per month

Dodo's cheapest NBN plans will all go up by $2 per month from July 1, off the back of NBN Co's upcoming wholesale pricing changes. NBN 100 plans and up will stay at their current price.

Here's how pricing is changing for Dodo's NBN plans:

Speed Tier	Old Pricing	New Pricing
NBN 15	$64.99 per month	$66.99 per month
NBN 25	$71.99 per month	$73.99 per month
NBN 50	$85.99 per month	$87.99 per month
NBN 100	$92.99 per month	$92.99 per month
NBN 500	$92.99 per month	$92.99 per month
NBN 750	$99.99 per month	$99.99 per month
NBN 1000	$109.99 per month	$109.99 per month

These pricing changes will apply to new and existing Dodo customers. Existing customers will pay the increased amount from their first bill next month, but will continue to receive any discounts they may be eligible for.

Like Telstra and Optus, Dodo has limited its price increases to cheaper NBN plans. All of its faster plans will stay at their current pricing. This means there'll only be a $5 per month difference between Dodo's NBN 50 plan and its NBN 100 and NBN 500 plans.

When it comes to Dodo's price increases, they're some of the smallest we've seen so far. Most providers have upped the cost of their cheaper plans by at least $3 per month, and Superloop is hiking its NBN 25 plan by $6 per month. While an increase is still an increase, Dodo customers getting hit with one will seemingly be among the best off.

There are still other ways to save, however, with many providers currently running deals. The most common is a honeymoon discount: savings for new customers that tend to last between six months and a year. Most NBN plans are contract-free, so switching between discounted plans is a relatively simple solution for a lower NBN bill.
