Google has just announced its new Pixel 10 family of devices, and Vodafone is giving away a free PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition.
Valued at $749.95, the console is yours to keep when you pre-order the Pixel 10 Pro XL on a plan.
The offer is available when you take up a 12-, 24- or 36-month repayment term with Vodafone. Vodafone is only offering the 256GB and 512GB storage variants.
Here's how Vodafone's Pixel 10 Pro XL plans (on a 36-month term) compare with Optus and Telstra's.
The Pixel 10 Pro XL will be available from August 21, while your free PlayStation 5 console will be shipped separately within 60 days of your order confirmation. You'll forfeit your free PlayStation if you cancel your order prior to its delivery.
Vodafone's pre-order offer is available until August 27.
Vodafone is only ranging the Pixel 10 Pro XL this year. Its free console offer comes hot off the heels of a price increase of $80 on the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition for Australians back in April.
If you've been eyeing the console and thinking about upgrading to a new handset, then the stars may just have aligned for you.
If you want the Pixel 10 or Pixel 10 Pro on a plan, you'll want to look at Optus and Telstra's offers. Optus is taking $600 off the RRP of any Pixel 10 device over the repayment term. Over 36 months, that's $16.67 per month. Telstra is taking off $500 with the same conditions, which works out to be $13.88 per month in savings.
The latest Google foldable the Pixel 10 Pro Fold which was also announced today isn't releasing until October 9.
The new Pixel 10 family is powered by Google's latest processor, the Tensor G5 which Google says is its biggest performance increase so far. There are plenty of other under-the-hood improvements as well. The Pixel 10 Pro XL for example, now has 25W wireless charging speeds
All of the devices now come with Pixelsnap – which is Google's version of Apple's MagSafe wireless charging and a host of new Gemini AI features.
