Boost Mobile will simplify its pre-paid recharge offers next month, adding a new $20 option to replace current $10 and $20 price points.
This new $20 ULTRA recharge comes with unlimited SMS/MMS, 100 talk minutes and 1GB of data.
The big difference is that all plans will have now have 30-day expiry, rather than 5-day and 15-day expiry on the current lower priced offers. In giving current $20 customers a full month to use included credit, Boost is also cutting back on calls, which are currently unlimited for 15-days.
This seems like a pretty fair trade, especially for users who send text messages more often then they make phone calls.
Boost’s $40 UNLTD plan remains unchanged for now, including its 2.5GB of included data per month, though there is suggestions that it will also be adjusted, for the better, before the end of March.
