As part of Telstra's end of financial year blowout, the telco is offering customers three months of free Xbox All Access, which works out to be a $102 saving.
Xbox All Access is a partnership between Telstra and Microsoft that lets customers bundle an Xbox One onto their mobile or broadband plan as an entertainment option. Xbox All Access also includes Ultimate Game Pass, Microsoft's Netflix for game subscription service which gets you access to over 100 titles across Xbox and PC - even new releases such as Gears Tactics and Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
The promo only applies to Telstra's top-tier Xbox All Access plan, which gets you a 1TB Xbox One X. This plan is normally billed at $34 per month.
If you're keen to get the deal, you'll end up paying $714 across a 24-month term. Given Game Pass Ultimate is valued at $15.95 per month, the discount effectively means you're getting at Xbox One X for $331.20. That's not bad, considering the console has an RRP for $549. Xbox All Access is contract-free, but you'll need to pay out the remaining value of your plan if you leave before your 24-month term is up.
This offer is available until June 30.
You can only get an Xbox through Telstra if you're already an existing customer. If you're not but would like to be, here are a couple of Telstra SIM-only plans to consider:
