Telstra is cutting the cost of select phones in the provider's Super Saver Sales. Handsets like the iPhone XS and Samsung Galaxy S20 5G will get a $10 discount every month for 24 months, but others like the Galaxy A90 and Pixel 4 will get the discount along with a heavily reduced outright phone cost on top.
To nab the discount you can be an existing or new Telstra customer but you'll need to set up a new plan, and remain connected to the network for the full 24 months. The discount will be applied as a $10 credit every month for the duration of the device payment plan. Discounts only apply during the payment plan, if you cancel early then you will forfeit the remaining discount and need to pay the prorated value in full. You're also only able to receive one credit per bill, so if you're already on a discounted plan with Big T you'll need to nix one or the other.
Every plan comes with Telstra's unlimited data at speeds of 1.5Mbps, data-free sports and music streaming, and access to Telstra Plus rewards, along with unlimited talk, text and generous full-speed data inclusions.
Samsung Galaxy S20 5G
Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G
Grab this year's Samsung Galaxy S20 or S20+ 5G models and take advantage of Telstra's growing 5G network. Released only a few months ago these are some of the pricier smartphones on the market at the moment, but the $240 discount brings these handsets down to $1,259 and $1,409 respectively.
Split up over a 24-month plan you can expect to pay as little as $52 per month plus plan costs, which is significantly cheaper than most other 2020 flagships available.
iPhone XS
Apple’s 2018 iPhone XS comes with a 5.8-inch Super Retina OLED display, and two 12MP rear-facing cameras.
Save $648 on one of the most popular Apple devices of 2018, and add a $10 monthly discount on to that as well. That brings the phone cost down to just $31 per month over 24 months.
Google Pixel 4
Google’s Pixel 4 was released late 2019 with a 5.7-inch display and a dual camera set up. Boasting a 12MP primary lens, a 16MP telephoto lens, and an array of AI photography options, the Pixel is still a good choice for smartphone photographers.
Take $330 off the handset and get a further $10 monthly account credit over 24-months.
Samsung Galaxy A90 5G
As one of the more affordable 5G phones to come onto the market last year, the Samsung A90 has a substantial 4,500mAh battery powering it’s 6.7-inch display and 48MP wide + 8MP ultrawide + 5MP depth camera set up. Save $240 across the life of the plan plus a $330 handset discount.
Telstra Tough Max 3
Marked with a Blue Tick and tough as it's namesake, the Telstra Tough Max 3 is down to just $4.95 per month over 24 months, but you'll be able to get a $10 monthly credit on 24 and 36-month plans. In our last tests, the Telstra Tough Max 2 withstood some big stair tumbles and even being run over by a car, so you know this phone is made to last.
Nokia 7.2
Also down to just $4.95 per month across a 24-month plan, the Nokia 7.2 is a great value smartphone. With a tri-camera set up of 48MP + 8MP + 5MP, 3,500mAh battery and running Android 10 you're going to get more phone than you're paying for.
These offers are available until June 30.
