Get 20GB for $26.25 per month on Optus and bonus Flybuys points

Earlier this year, Optus teamed up with Flybuys to offer an exclusive range of SIM-only plans. Now, it's cutting 25% off the entire range. These plans are still delivered by Optus, you'll just need a Flybuys account to nab them. They're as follows:

$26.25 per month gets you 20GB and 1,000 bonus Flybuys points, down from $35 per month
$33.75 per month gets you 40GB and 5,000 bonus Flybuys points, down from $45 per month
$48.75 per month gets you 80GB and 10,000 bonus Flybuys points, dwon from $65 per month

The plans come with unlimited talk and text and Optus Sport, but no international inclusions. They're available until January 31, next year.

The 25% discount lasts for your first 24 months, after which you'll you'll pay full price. Of course there were will definitely be a better value plan around in two years time, so you can always bounce as soon as your discount runs out. Or before. You do you.

The $26.25 per month plan is the clear standout. For comparison, spending $39 per month on Optus only gets you a 10GB allowance. This plan doesn't include Optus Sport, while the Flybuys plans do.

There are a few other catches to be aware of. The Optus Flybuys plans require you to commit to a 12-month contract, whereas Optus' SIM-only plans are contract-free. You have to be a Flybuys member to get these plans, but registering for the program is free

If you want to increase the amount of Flybuys you earn, you can commit to a 24-month term. We wouldn't recommend this, however.

Moose is a clear standout, offering 20GB for $22 per month on a 12-month term. Moose is powered by the Optus network.
