Virgin Mobile is trying to tempt new subscribers onboard its service by offering 2 months of free access fees on any 2-year contract signed when coming from another provider, providing you’re not ditching its parent company: Optus.
Ending on September 7, this offer is in conjunction with Virgin’s current 1GB bonus data offer, meaning you’ll get both 2 months free access and an added 1GB of data per month for the life of your plan. It also works with the “triple data offer”, which is just another name for the 1GB bonus data deal, except on the 500MB plan.
You can sign up to a SIM-only plan, or go with a Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z2, Galaxy S4, or Xperia Z1.
It’s important to remember that the deal only gives you two months of free access fees. Any monthly handset repayments during those months will still need to be paid up. You’ll receive the credit after your first bill and it cannot be redeemed for cash or used alongside any other offer, with the exception of the aforementioned bonus data deals.
