Who doesn’t love a good bundle deal? A two for one, a discount, cramming two bills into one so it’s easier to stay on top of payments. It’s just a great system, which unfortunately isn’t that prevalent in the internet, energy and gas realm.

Right now there are two Aussie telcos letting you bundle your energy, gas, and internet together for a discount. Both Origin Energy and Dodo take $10 off your NBN plan if you bundle your energy or gas along with them, and for now Dodo will shout you three months of free internet as well.

Dodo offers a $5 discount per additional service, but how much you can add on depends on where you live. NSW and Victoria residents can get a $10 per month discount by bundling internet, gas, and electricity together. While South Australian and Queensland residents can get a $5 per month discount as only electricity services are available. No matter where you live, all linked services will need to be connected at the same address.

Your other option is Origin Energy. Origin Energy probably isn’t the first name that you think of when it comes to NBN, but it might be when you think of your energy needs. You might already be connected with them, which would be convenient since you need an active account in order to get the discount.

If you’re already connected with Origin on either a hot water, electricity or gas plan then you can get a $10 per month discount immediately.

While Origin’s NBN prices are a bit dearer than others, they have exceptionally fast speeds especially on faster plans. The Enthusiast NBN 100 plan clocks in with typical evening speeds of 99Mbps, while the 250 plan advertises downloads of 248Mbps. These are both among the absolute fastest plans available on these speed tiers.

You can see how Origin stacks up against other providers below. Just use the dropdown menu to toggle between speed tiers.
