Vodafone offers free month with Seniors Card discount

Vodafone today announced a new offer allowing Australian Seniors Card holders nationwide to claim a free month of access when they take up any 24-month contract worth $40 per month or more. This offer is available to customers opting for either a new phone or a SIM-only contract. 

The Australia-wide seniors discount coincides with a new partnership between Vodafone and Seniors Card NSW. This collaboration will see Vodafone running six in-store workshops for seniors, starting from 22 November. Workshop locations will be announced closer to the date.

Vodafone's workshops will focus on helping seniors with setting up the basics on their phone such as their font size, wallpaper, and voicemail; ensuring they have all the tools they need to keep in touch with friends and family who live overseas; how to manage their mobile usage; how to back up their phone; and security.

"At Vodafone we understand new technology can sometimes be overwhelming to learn," said Director of Sales Ben McIntosh. "We believe these in-store workshops will be extremely helpful, and before they know it, they’ll know more about using their phones then their grandchildren."

Vodafone's partnership with Seniors Card NSW will run for 12 months, while the first month free offer runs until November 21, 2017.
