Telstra has partnered with HTC to bring a new home brand smartphone to market, with super-fast web speeds and an extremely familiar design.
Named like a pizza with the works, the Telstra Signature Premium hits stores this week wearing both Telstra and HTC badges and looking a lot like an iPhone 6 — especially from behind.
The handset features a 5-inch Full HD display, made with HTC’s Super LCD3 technology; a 13-megapixel camera, an Octo-core processor and 2GB RAM.
Perhaps most importantly, the Signature also has Telstra 4GX capabilities, offering typical download speeds of up to 100Mbps.
Telstra is also making a point to remind us that this new model will be among the first to benefit from upcoming network features like Voice over WiFi.
Prices start from $69 per month on a 24-month plan, or the Signature can be bought outright for $648 — placing it alongside phones like the Nexus 5X and the Samsung Galaxy S6 in regards to price.
