A number of mobile plan providers operating on the Telstra network have just launched double-data deals.
All new or upgrading mobile customers with Exetel, More Mobile, numobile, Superloop, Tangerine Telecom and Woolworths Mobile will get double the data for the first six months on selected SIM-only plans.
Tangerine, More Mobile and numobile customers eyeing off their 32GB, 42GB and 120GB mobile plans will be eligible for the double data deal. numobile extends its double data offer to customers taking up its 90GB plan. This offer, across all three telcos, ends on July 31. Here's how these plans compare:
Those signing up for Woolworths Mobile's 42GB, 90GB and 120GB plans can also take advantage of the double data offer. Woolworths' offer ends on July 18. Here's how the supermarket giant's SIM-only plans compare:
Similarly, Exetel and Superloop's offer applies to their 80GB, 180GB and 240GB data-heavy SIM-only plans. This offer ends on July 31. Check out how these plans compare:
All of these eligible mobile plans have no lock-in contracts so customers can leave as soon as the promo period ends. Once the offer expires, plans will revert to the advertised data amount.
These offers compete with Optus Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs), Dodo and amaysim. However, these offer half the lifespan of Telstra's MVNO promo deals.
Dodo is currently offering double data on its 40GB and 80GB plans for the first three months for all new and returning customers. This offer is scheduled to end on June 21, unless otherwise extended. Take a look at these competing plans from Dodo below:
