Black Friday may not be really be a thing in Australia, but that hasn't stopped telcos from trotting out a whole heap of deals this week. The latest is a rather compelling iPhone offer from Optus.
If you pick up either an iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max on Optus' 200GB plan, you'll save 15% on your monthly bill, which equates to $450 over the course of two years. In short, you're looking at $106.25 per month (no extra handset repayment fees) for either the XS or 256GB XR. The iPhone XS Max starts at $121.25 per month.
While this Optus offer certainly isn't cheap, you get a whole bunch of extras on top of your freaking huge 200GB allowance. These include unlimited international talk and text to 35 countries, data-free video streaming through Stan and Netflix, data-free music streaming through Google Play Music and Spotify, and Optus Sport access.
The plan also includes international roaming (to "zone 1" countries) as a standard feature with a 4GB monthly roaming data allowance. This essentially means you can roam a good portion of the globe without paying any extra fees.
This offer runs until December 2.
