OVO expands brick-and-mortar sales with Australia Post

SIM cards might be the last product you think of when it comes to Australia Post, but OVO today announced a partnership that will see its prepaid SIMs on sale in select post offices all around Australia.

You'll be able to pick up two different OVO starter SIMs in Australia Post outlets: one for the telco's $9.95 Mini recharge, and one for the telco's $34.95 Large recharge.

The Mini plan includes 1GB of data, $200 minutes of talk, and unlimited SMS. The Large plan comes with 8GB of data, unlimited talk and text, and 300 international minutes to 32 countries. Both have a 30-day expiry.

Today's news follows the announcement of OVO's first brick-and-mortar partnership with 7-Eleven less than two weeks ago. The combined 7-Eleven and Australia Post footprint means OVO SIM cards will be available in close to 1,400 stores. Prior to these partnerships, OVO was an online only business.
