
Regional Australians can now benefit from discounted plans from Optus.
Residents from fourteen regions across the country and within the Northern Territory will get 20% off $39 per month or above Optus Choice and Optus One plans.
Including the discount, the plans monthly costs are as follows:
- $39 Optus Choice Plan - now $31.80
- $49 Optus Choice Plan - now $39.20
- $59 Optus Choice Plan - now $47.20
- $79 Optus Choice Plan - now $63.20
- $119 Optus One Plan - now $95.20
Open for new services only, the discount runs for 12 months and can be bundled with or without a device. After the allotted period the plan prices will revert to their original price. The discount only applies to the cost of the base plan, not to handset repayments.
All Optus plans are contract-free so customers are free to change plans or leave the network once the discount expires.
