Good deal: Get $300 off the Nokia 8

If you get in quick, you can get the Nokia 8 for $599 - a $300 discount from its regular $899 price-point. Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi have both slashed the price on Nokia's flagship phone, but only for around a week.

When we reviewed the Nokia 8 when it first launched, we thought it was a good phone that didn't quite manage to standout at its price-point. At $599, it's a more much more interesting proposition. The camera can be a little inconsistent, but it has flagship specs, a top of the line display, and build quality that evokes Nokia's heyday.

Key specifications for the Nokia 8 include a 5.3-inch Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, IP54 splash resistance, dual 13MP cameras, and a 3,090mAh battery. The Nokia 8 runs a "pure" version of Android Nougat free from modification. Nokia says all of its device will receive two years of major operating system updates and monthly security updates based on Google's schedule.

You can get the discounted Nokia 8 through both Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi, in store and online. Harvey Norman is running the promotion until February 25, while JB Hi-Fi will end the discount on February 21. You can get the Nokia 8 in a choice of "steel" or "polished blue".
