Honor is kicking off the start of the new financial year by bringing three new smartphones to Australia.
The first cab off the rank here is the Honor Magic 600. Priced at $999, the device is built around a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen clocked at 120Hz. On the back, the Magic 600 boasts a 200MP main camera. This is complemented by a pair of 12MP ultra and macro lenses.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, plus a 7000mAh battery.
While it sits below the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S26 in price, Honor’s latest still packs in plenty of premium perks. It’s got dual speakers, IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, 80W wired fast-charging and a 50MP selfie camera.
The Honor Magic 600 Pro is less of an evolution and more of an escalation on that formula. It features an identical screen and a higher asking price of $1499, but also a number of significant photography and performance tweaks.
The most visible one is that Honor has squeezed a 50MP periscope telephoto camera onto the back of the device. The Qualcomm processor previously mentioned has also been traded out for a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite and the amount of on-board storage has been doubled to 512GB. Finally, the Honor 600 Pro supports wireless charging via Qi at speeds of up to 50W.
Last but not least, the Honor Magic V6 is the tech brand’s take on the big-screen foldables like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. First shown off at this year’s Mobile World Congress, the device features a 6.52-inch AMOLED screen on the outside and a 7.95-inch AMOLED screen on the inside.
The back of Honor’s high-end foldable is host to a 50MP wide lens, a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens. Then, in terms of specs, you’re looking at the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage.
Aside from the foldable form-factor, the big thing that this device has going for it is the 6660mAh silicon carbon battery. Compared to the lithium-ion batteries found inside most other modern smartphones, this inclusion promises to offer more battery life within a smaller physical footprint.
While the asking price of Honor’s latest foldable is a steep one, the brand is looking to make it an easier sell with a succession of promotions running over the next month and a half.
Those who pick up the Magic V6 before the July 15 will score themselves a bonus Honor Watch 6, Honor Earbuds Clip and a 12 month subscription to Honor’s Screen Protection Service (which is valued at $299). Those who snag the fancy foldable after that deadline but before August 12 will score the same goodies minus the subscription.
There’s a similar deal happening for both the Honor Magic 600 and Honor Magic 600 Pro. Those who pick up the former before August 12 will score a free Honor Watch 2 Pro. Those who snag the latter before that same deadline will get an Honor Watch 4 and Honor Earbuds Clip instead.
In Australia, the Honor Magic 600, Honor Magic 600 Pro and Honor Magic V6 are on sale from this week via JB Hi-Fi and The Good Guys.
