ALDIMobile today introduce a couple of new plans, and updates for a few current favourites, with more data and free weekend calls.
The popular XL and XXL Value Packs both receive a boost, with the XL plan upgrading to practically unlimited calling and the XXL plan benefitting from a 500MB boost in data, now up to 4.5GB per month. Both plans remain at the same price per recharge, $35 and $45 respectively.
For heavy internet lovers, the XL and XXL plan will now include 500MB bonus data for use on the weekends during the recharge period. If you find you need more data through the month you can also add either a 1.5GB, 4GB or 6GB data pack, each with a 90-day expiry.
Fro lower use customers, ALDI has added a new S(mall) Value Pack with up to 125 minutes of calls ($12.50 value and calls at 10c per minute). This plan also features 250MB data and 50,000 SMS. All calls and SMS to other ALDIMobile customers are included.
The L(arge) Value Pack will be $5 cheaper going forward, but will also include fewer calling minutes per month — down from 650 to 500 minutes.
The Value Pack options now look like this:

As you can see, the new plans great even pricing tiers and easy to follow increases in monthly inclusions from plan to plan. The new S Value Pack is a great addition at the end of the mobile market that doesn’t offer get much attention, and the L Value Pack price change fill a gap right in the middle.
And in case you’re wondering, we refer to the minute limits on the XL and XXL plans as ‘practically unlimited’ because 43200 is exactly the number of minutes in 30 days. It may seem like a ridiculous number, but it is a neat way to give customers unlimited minutes without letting mischievous types abuse the system.
