New customers who swap to Boost Mobile and take up a plan worth at least $30 will now get a bonus 23GB on their first five recharges. This makes the $30 recharge an especially good offer, with a total allowance of 35GB.
To get the bonus data, you'll need to port to Boost and make your first recharge before February 25. The $30, $40, and $50 SIM starter kits also include the bonus 23GB, and will count as the first recharge. The remaining four recharges must be made by June 30, 2019.
All plans will return to their standard allowance after your five recharges are up, but since Boost plans are contract-free, you can always look for a better offer if you're not happy with your reduced inclusions.
Boost's current range of plans is as follows:
All Boost recharges worth $30 or more include data rollover for customers who recharge before expiry, 100 standard international texts, unlimited calls to selected international destinations, and 100 minutes of international call credit for selected other international destinations not covered by the unlimited call offer.
It's also worth noting that Boost Mobile recharges are sold on a 28-day basis, so you'll need to recharge 13 times per year.
Boost Mobile technically isn't a Telstra MVNO, but a Telstra retail partner. The key benefit is that Boost Mobile has access to all Telstra 3G and 4G network towers, so you can get a signal in a few of the regional areas that the other MVNOs miss out on.
