Luxury audio manufacturer Bang & Olufsen has unveiled its first-pair of wireless over-ear noise-cancelling headphones, the Beoplay H9. Based on Beoplay H7, the Beoplay H9s look almost identical to their predecessor, but with the addition of a small microphone to facilitate noise-cancelling functionality.
If you're listening wirelessly with noise-cancellation switched on, Bang & Olufsen says you'll get about 14 hours of battery life. The headphones do however have a removable battery, so you can always swap in another if you've got an urgent need for tunes. Recharging a battery will take about three hours.
The Bang & Olufsen name typically attracts a high-price tag, and the H9s are no exception; a pair will set you back $799. That being said, while we're yet to try a pair of H9s, we were pretty impressed by the H7s when we tried them earlier in the year. They're easily some of the comfiest over-ear headphones we've tested, and they sounded pretty good too.
