Woolworths Mobile has introduced the biggest data plan on the Telstra network under $50, but you’ll need to be quick to get it.
The provider’s $49 SIM Only plan comes in at $49 per month with a whopping 70GB of data to use in that time. To nab this you’ll need to sign up before March 24, but once you’re in you’re in.
You can also bundle this plan with any mobile phone available through the provider. Here are some of the phones you can get on a plan with Woolworths.
The closest valued plan also operating on Telstra’s network comes from Lycamobile in the form of the Unlimited Plan XL. This option will give you 75GB for $50 on your first recharge, but the same fee will yield 60GB thereafter.
For comparison the majority of other plans coming from Telstra wholesalers sit at around 60GB for a similar price. See these below.
Even when we expand further beyond Telstra MVNOs, 70GB for $49 is still quite a steal although there are some baller deals out there right now. Vodafone’s $120 SIM Only plan is slogging 500GB for just $60 per month for your first year. Optus also does 100GB for $59 without the need for promotional offers.
In saying that you will benefit from the Telstra Wholesale network with Woolworths Mobile, which is less extensive than Telstra proper but still larger than both Optus and Vodafone. Along with the generous data allowance, you’ll also get unlimited international calls and texts to 22 select countries, and be able to bank up to 200GB of unused data in your data bank.
All Woolworths’ plans come with 10% off your shop once per month, up to the value of $50 which in this case would pay for your plan fees and a Curly Wurly at the registers.
