Now that Optus and Vodafone have had their own deals going for a while, you can finally preorder the LG G3 from Telstra. Following in the other two’s footsteps, any preorder will also get a free $250 VISA gift card.
Unfortunately you’re going to need to act quickly if you want the bonus. It’s only available until tomorrow morning (31 st of July) at 8:59am sharp. You also have to order online to get the card.
Plans for the G3 start at $70 per month, coming to a total minimum cost of $1680 over 24 months for the phone + the plan. That much will get you $550 of talk and MMS each month, unlimited text and 500MB of data.
You’ll probably want a little more data than that. Our guess is that the next tier up will be the more popular option. For $77 per month, $1848 over 2 years, will get you 3x the data at 1.5GB per month. You’ll also get $700 of talk and MMS, with the same unlimited texts.
About the LG G3

The LG G3 is one of the most talked-about phones in the tech community. It’s barely been released in some countries, and yet to be seen in most, and yet it already has rave reviews all over the globe. It’s one of the first devices to be released will a 2560x1440 resolution display, which is about 75% more pixels than you’d get from 1080p.
The screen itself is quite large at 5.5 inches, but it’s surrounded by such thin bezels that the whole phone is only 4.3mm taller and 2mm wider than the 5.1 inch Galaxy S5.
The 13MP camera users a laser autofocus system that has super-fast focus acquisition, meaning that you’ll be able to take photos even more easily. Of course, that’s less important than being able to tell your friends that your phone has built-in lasers, which is really what you should be taking away from this.
The rest of the specs are fairly impressive, too. You can check read more about the G3 in a separate article if you like, or simply head on over to Telstra and preorder one right now.
