Samsung today confirmed that it will take the wraps off the Galaxy S10 a little bit earlier than expected. While the company has historically unveiled new flagship devices at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Samsung will hold its own event about a week before this time around.
To celebrate the Galaxy S series' tenth anniversary, Samsung is holding its "Unpacked" event on February 20 in San Francisco. As usual, Samsung will also live stream the announcement. If you want to watch along, you'll need to tune at 6am AEDT on February 21.

We're expecting to see Samsung reveal a trio of Galaxy smartphones: the Galaxy S10 Lite, the Galaxy S10, and the Galaxy S10+. Rumours suggest that the phones will all have a camera cut-out display, where the selfie-camera is embedded directly in the screen, rather than in a notch. If we're lucky, we might also see the final version of Samsung's foldable smartphone.
Given the earlier announcement dates, we might even see the S10 family hit stores before the end of February or at the very start of March.
