Samsung has confirmed that it will reveal its next Galaxy Note smartphone - presumably the Galaxy Note 20 - via an online event at the start of August. The event is set to kick off at 10am ET on August 5, which is 12am AEST on August 6 for anyone hoping to watch along from Australia.
Samsung is expected to once again announced a pair of Galaxy Note smartphones: the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. The Note 20 Ultra is set to be the more expensive of the pair, touting a 108MP camera, periscopic zoom lens, and 120Hz display, a la the Galaxy S20 Ultra. Based on past years, we're expecting pre-orders to start on August 6, ahead of an August 21 release date.

We're also expecting to see Samsung take the wraps of a myriad of other devices. These could include the Galaxy Fold 2, a 5G variant of the Galaxy Z Flip, the Galaxy Tab S7, the Galaxy Watch 3, and noise-cancelling wire-free purportedly known as Galaxy Beans. Of course, Samsung could announce some of these devices in the lead up to the main event, as it did with the Galaxy Tab S6 last year.
Who knows, we might even see the missing-in-action Galaxy Home smart speaker finally make an appearance. It's only been two years, Samsung.
