Samsung's Galaxy Tab S6 5G is the world's first 5G tablet

Samsung is showing no signs of slowing down when it comes to 5G. The company today announced a 5G variant of its latest tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6, which also has have the honour of being the world's first tablet with integrated 5G.

Other than 5G connectivity, the Galaxy Tab S6 5G is identical to the standard Galaxy Tab S6. Key specifications include a Snapdragon 855 processor, a 10.5-inch 2560x1600 display, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, 13MP + 5MP rear-facing cameras, and a 7,040mAh battery. There's also an S Pen stylus in the box, but the keyboard cover will set you back extra.

At this stage, the Galaxy Tab S6 5G is only available in South Korea and we don’t know if Samsung has plans to bring it to other markets. Based on international pricing, we'd expect the Tab S6 5G to cost around $1,500 if it ends up launching here. We'll just have to wait and see.
