TPG customers looking to upgrade their monthly mobile plans will have three new options going forward, with great new plans, especially compared with the plans TPG used to offer on the Optus network.
The new partnership between TPG and Vodafone runs deeper than most standard wholesale agreements. TPG is committing to build a huge new fibre network as the backbone for Vodafone services, and in return it is getting a great wholesale price to pass on to its 320,000 current subscribers — and anyone who wants to jump on board in the future.
Previously, TPG offered 5 different plans, ranging from its T4G Small Plan up to the T4G XXLarge Plan. From now the range will be paired back to just 3 plans, T4G I, T4G II and T4G III.

As you can see, there is savings and big data bumps across the board. Each $10 increase in price comes with a significant return in value, like the step up to unlimited calls in the cheaper plans, or the big data boost on the T4G III plan.
Comparatively, these new plans are competitive at each price price. The $19.99 plan will give Vaya’s popular $18 plan a run for its money, the T4G II plan is in line with amaysim and the T4G III plan is best value for $40.
