About the LG G4

The G4 is the successor to last year’s wildly popular LG G3. It was a phone that, for many tech pundits, changed how LG was viewed as a phone manufacturer. It was beautiful, sleek, had a great camera, and was among the first phones to sport a quad-HD display.
The G4 this year is receiving similar, if not increased praise. You can opt to pay a little more to get it with a premium leather backing, which I can personally assure you will feature heavily in my upcoming review thanks to the great look, grip and feel it provides.
This time around the camera is even more impressive. Online comparisons usually end up placing it neck and neck with the Samsung Galaxy S6, which makes it (at the very least) in the top three cameras on the market, with the iPhone 6 Plus taking its place alongside the other two.
Finally, the G4 still sports a MicroSD slot for expandable storage. This is something that Apple has never offered, and that Samsung has shied away from with the Galaxy S6 line. If you’re a fan of the versatility MicroSD cards can bring, then the G4 is probably your best bet.
In short, the LG G4 is looking to be one of the better phone releases of 2015.
Class on your wrist
Smartwatches aren’t a curiosity; they’re an eventuality. With each successive generation the technology will get better and more energy efficient.
In the meantime, the most important thing is style. This is something that it took smartwatch manufacturers to understand, but they’re finally getting the picture; these days, people wear watches first and foremost for the look. If they didn’t, you’d see a hell of a lot more $15 digital timepieces around the place, if you saw any at all.
Enter the LG G Watch Urbane with its metal chassis and circular P-OLED display. At first glance it looks like an actual watch, which is great for your fashion status. On closer inspection that watchface is a touchscreen, capable of displaying and responding to notifications without the need to pull your phone out of your pocket.
Optus is only giving away 100 of these badboys, so get in quick and order online.
