Optus is hoping to woo regional Australians onto its network with a whole stack on new discounts. Anyone with an eligible postcode is able to pick from a discounted SIM-only plan, pick up an iPhone SE or Samsung Galaxy A51 for at least 50% off, or nab a Galaxy A21 for just a dollar per month.
If you're just after a SIM-only plan, Optus is offering eligible customers 25% off its 100GB plan for their first year. This means you'll pay $44.25 per month for your first year, and $59 per month thereafter. For comparison, Optus charges $49 per month for its 60GB SIM-only plan. The 100GB plan also includes an Optus Sport subscription, unlimited international talk and text to 35 countries, and 2GB of roaming data for when travel is A Thing again.

If you're after an iPhone SE and in eligible postcode, you can save $340.46 off the device's retail price. That means you'll pay $9.40 per month on top of your plan fees for a 64GB model on a 36-month term or $14.10 per month on a 24-month plan. The discounts on Samsung's Galaxy A51 are even deeper, with Optus cutting $453.60 from the handset cost. That means you'll pay $4 per month on a 36-month term or $6 per month on a 24-month term. Get this deal here.
