OPPO Find X2 Lite is Australia's cheapest 5G phone

The OPPO Find X2 Pro hits stores today, but in a surprise movie, its being flanked by two other more affordable devices: the Find X2 Lite and Find X2 Neo. The Find X2 Lite is the entry-level device in the Find X2 family, priced at $749 outright. That also happens to make it the cheapest 5G smartphone available in Australia.

For comparison, the outright cost of an entry-level Galaxy S20 5G is $1,499, while the OPPO Find X2 Pro sells for $1,599. The Find X2 Lite is less than half the price of either. While the Find X2 Lite is the cheapest new release 5G phone we've seen to date, it is worth noting you can get currently get Xiaomi's Mi Mix 3 5G for $699 via JB Hi-Fi thanks to a discount.

Key specifications for the Find X2 Lite include a 6.4-inch 1080p+ display, a Snapdragon 765G processor, 128GB of non-expandable storage, 8GB of RAM, and a 4,025mAh battery. It has four rear-facing cameras, including a 48MP primary lens, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro monochrome lens, and 2MP depth lens.

You can get the Find X2 Lite in a choice of Obsidian Black or Pearl White. Optus, Vodafone, and Woolworths Mobile are all offering the phone on a plan, while you'll find it outright at JB Hi-Fi, Mobileciti, Bing Lee, Catch of the Day, Kogan, and Officeworks.

If you pick up the Find X2 Lite through Optus, you'll get a bonus $100 eGift Card. The gift card can be used at select retailers including Big W, Coles, JB Hi-Fi, Kmart, Myer, Target, Woolworths WISH, Event Cinemas, Hoyts, and The Good Guys, among others.

The Find X2 Neo is another 5G handset, albeit slightly pricier at $999. While it has the same processor and 5G capabilities as the Find X2 Lite, most of its hardware is a bit higher end. The display is a little larger and has a faster refresh rate of 90Hz, up from the standard 60Hz you get on the Lite, and there's more storage and RAM.

Key specifications for the Find X2 Pro include a 6.5-inch 90Hz 1080p+ display, a Snapdragon 765 processor, 256GB of non-expandable storage, 12GB of RAM, and a 4,025mAh battery. It has four rear-facing cameras, including a 48MP primary lens, 13MP 2x zoom lens, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and 2MP macro monochrome lens.

You can get the Find X2 Neo in a choice of Moonlight Black or Starry Blue. Telstra and Woolworths Mobile are offering the phone on a plan, while you'll find it outright at JB Hi-Fi, Mobileciti, Bing Lee, Catch of the Day, Kogan, and Officeworks.
