Samsung and Huawei might be duking it out over foldable phones, but HMD is flipping it old school. The company today announced its latest throwback feature phone: a spruced up version of the Nokia 2720 flip phone.
Much like the 3310 3G and 8810 4G, the 2720 Flip is a pretty basic device. It has a T9 keyboard, a 2.8-inch internal display, a 1.3-inch external display, and up to 27 days of standby time.

In terms of software, it runs KaiOS. KaiOS is a little smarter than what you'd expect from a feature phone, and even has apps like Google Maps, WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube, and Google Assistant.
The Nokia 2720 Flip is joined by two other new feature phones with somewhat less nostalgia value: the Nokia 800 Tough and the Nokia 110.

As the name might suggest, the Nokia 800 Tough is a highly ruggedised device. It's rated IP68 for water-resistance, has a Military Standard 810G rating for humidity, temperature and low pressure, and can survive two metre drops onto concrete. You'll even find a carabiner loop. HMD says the Nokia 800 Tough will last up to 43 days on standby.
Like the Nokia 2720 Flip, the Nokia 800 Tough is powered by KaiOS.

Lastly, the Nokia 110 is an incredibly basic device with a further stripped down operating system. It makes phone calls, sends text messages, plays music from microSD, and takes what you might be able to call a photo?
All three feature phones are set to launch in Australia, but we don't have pricing or availability yet. Based on international conversions, we're expecting the Nokia 2720 Flip to come in around $150, the 800 Tough around $170, and the 110 around $30.
