Motorola is teaming up with Swarovski to bring a bedazzled variant of the Razr 60 to Australia alongside the new Moto Buds Loop earbuds
Billed as the brand’s “Brilliant Collection” of products, the duo come clad in crystals that set them apart from most of their competition in a clear way. According to Praveena Raman, the Head of Motorola Australia and New Zealand, the new range brings lifestyle luxury to everyday technology.
“Motorola and Swarovski share a passion deeply rooted in innovation, craftsmanship and iconic heritage, making Swarovski a natural partner for the Motorola Collections series,” he said.
The new version of the Motorola Razr 60 that makes up half of the range here features Swarovski crystal accents, across both the back cover and hinge. The volume keys have also gotten a crystal-inspired redesign intended to complete the look and complement the leather-inspired finish on the back of the foldable.
Otherwise, the hardware here is much the same as the Razr 60 that launched in Australia earlier this year. Under the hood, the device runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7400X processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 4500mAh battery. Then, on the outside, Motorola’s latest foldable is fitted out with a 6.9-inch AMOLED screen clocked at 120Hz plus a 3.6-inch cover display clocked at 90Hz.
As with the regular Razr 60, you’re also getting IP48 water resistance, a 32MP selfie camera, 256GB of storage and a dual-lens rear camera that combines a 50MP wide-angle lens with a 13MP ultrawide one.
In Australia, the Brilliant Collection version of the Razr 60 will be available through Harvey-Norman exclusively from this week at an RRP of $1,499. That’s $300 more than the price of the standard Razr 60, but if you choose to pick it up in a bundle with the new Moto Buds Loop before December 24, then you’ll save $300 on the total price.

Launched in overseas markets earlier this year, the Moto Buds Loop are a new set of true wireless earbuds with a unique jewellery-inspired look. They also come with 12mm ironless drivers, a Bose-tuned sound signature and dual microphones that promise to enhance calls and cancel out unwanted noise.
Motorola’s new open-ear headphones also tout a water-repellent design plus a respectable playtime of eight hours on a single charge. Paired up with the charger case for the earbuds, you’re looking at a total of 37 hours of listening.
In Australia, the Moto Buds Loop are available through Harvey Norman from this week. Pricing for the earbuds starts at $399, but you can still save via the aforementioned bundle if you pair the Moto Buds Loop with the crystal-encrusted Razr 60 before December 24.
