Boost now selling refurbished Apple Watches and iPads

As of today you’ll be able to buy refurbished Apple Watches and iPads through the Boost Mobile Refurb Store.

Boost Mobile stocks a range of refurbished handsets such as the iPhone 7, Pixel 3 and 3XL, and a selected range of Samsung Galaxy Note and Galaxy S devices directly through it online store.

Now the Telstra MVNO has expanded its device selection to include the Series 3 and 4 Apple Watches, and five different iPads.

At release, the Apple Watch Series 3 cost $459 but now preowned options are available starting at just $249. Alternatively you can get the Series 4 starting from $319. Note that only the GPS versions are available, so if you’re hoping for one with an eSIM then you’re out of luck.

Preloved iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad 5, iPad 6, and the iPad mini 4 devices are also available online through the store. Prices start at just $239 for an iPad Air and range up to $639. All but the iPad 6 come with both WiFi and space for a data SIM. All iPads come unlocked so you can pick the best plan to suit your budget.

Earlier this year Boost and Coles partnered to sell affordable preowned iPhones, and this offer continues with an additional discount on the remaining stock. Previously priced at $299, you can now get an iPhone 7 directly from Coles for just $199. Boost is also ranging the iPhone 7 for $199 in its own online store.

When it comes to selling preowned products, Boost offers devices in either Good or Excellent condition. Good refurbished products are slightly cheaper than their excellent counterparts, however they may have more cosmetic damage. Each device goes through a 72 point inspection in order to be certified as 100% fully functional before resale.

Boost refurbs, whether bought directly from the Boost Refurb Shop or in person at Coles, come with a 12-month warranty and a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the product within 30 days you can contact Alegre - Boost’s refurbishment partner - for a refund or exchange.
