Telstra's budget-brand Belong has given its SIM-only plans a refresh, doubling data almost across the board. While the telco's $10 plan still only includes 1GB, you'll now get 10GB for $25 per month or 30GB for $40 per month. Here's the full range:
Belong's $40 plan includes unlimited international talk and text to 33 countries, or alternatively, international inclusions can be added on to any other Belong plan for an extra $5 per month.
Not only have plans received a data boost, but that data should go further thanks to data rollover. All Belong plans allow you to bank ('roll over') your data, which mean whatever data you don't use each month can be stored away for future use. You're able to bank an unlimited amount for as long as you want.
In addition to saving unused data for your own personal use, you can also donate it to fellow Belong customers through Data Gifting. If you've got data to spare, you can gift it to any active Belong user in increments of 1GB, provided your own account has at least 1GB of data remaining on your current billing cycle or in your data bank.
The plan refresh makes Belong's offering quite competitive - especially when it comes to no-contract plans. Here's a look at how Belong's $40 plan compares to other no contract offerings:
TeleChoice's 30GB plan is $1 cheaper, but doesn't include perks like data rollover. Alternaitvely, if you're happy with the Optus network, Jeenee Mobile has a larger 40GB for $44.90 per month.
Belong is powered by the Telstra network.
