Apple has confirmed it will hold its next online product unveiling on September 15 (3am AEST), where it is expected to reveal the iPhone 13 family. Maybe iPhone 12S. Who knows.
Once again, four new iPhones are on the cards: the iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 mini, the iPhone 13 Pro, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max. All four are expected to tout a similar design to last year, but with a smaller notch and a bit of extra thickness to accommodate larger batteries.
Other rumours include camera improvements across the board, 120Hz refresh rate displays on the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, and an always-on display.
Given the September 15 reveal, we'd expect pre-orders to kick off on September 17 ahead of a September 23 release date. We'd guessing pre-orders will start at 11pm, based on last year's launch. It's unclear if all four devices will be available from the get go. Last year Apple had a staggered launch, with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro going on sale first, ahead of the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max later in the year.
It wouldn't be surprising to see Apple unveil a new Apple Watch at the event, and rumours have suggested the manufacturer could also highlight new MacBooks.
