The year might be out, but that hasn't stopped Vodafone from shuffling up its phone plans. The biggest change is that almost every Vodafone postpaid plan now includes "endless mobile data".
While these plans still have varying data allowances, you'll be able to continue to use your service at no extra cost if you run out, albeit at capped speeds of 1.5Mbps. This was previously a feature only available on pricier Vodafone plans.
Vodafone's no-contract SIM-only plans are now it's only postpaid offering that don't include "endless mobile data". There's very little reason to consider these plans, however. For example, $40 per month only gets you 1GB on a Vodafone no-contract SIM-only plan. These days, that kind of money can get you around 40GB from other providers.
Other changes are mostly slight pricing and data rejigs. If you're buying a phone or signing up for a 12-month SIM-only plan, prices now start at $40 per month for 7GB. On the other end of the spectrum, $80 per month will get you 150GB.
As a bonus, if you sign up for Vodafone's top-tier 150GB plan, you'll now get seven days of free roaming each month for your first three years with Vodafone. Vodafone normally charges $5 per day for international roaming.
