How to switch to Belong NBN

To find out if you're eligible for an Belong NBN plan, first check your address in our broadband search engine. If Belong is listed in the search results, congratulations: you're able to make the switch.

Once you've picked the plan that works best for you and your family, you can place an order directly with Belong either by phone or online. Belong will help you to organise an installation date and time, plus take care of transferring any current broadband plan you may have over to their own NBN service.

Belong will provide you with a NBN-ready modem as part of your plan.

Another important thing to note: while installation is free for most customers, if you're located in a newly developed area with no existing telecommunications infrastructure, you may be charged a $300 New Development Fee by NBN Co.

How fast are Belong NBN plans?

As mentioned above, Belong sells plans configured on NBN 50, and NBN 100 speed tiers, also known as Standard Plus and Premium. You can read more information NBN speeds here.

What are my data options?

Belong internet plans include a choice of 100GB or unlimited data.

What happens if I exceed my data allowance?

If you go over your data allowance, your service will be slowed to 256kbps for the remainder of your billing month. Belong won't charge you any extra.

Do I need to buy a new modem to sign up to Belong?

If you already have a NBN-ready modem or router that is suitable for your technology type, you can use it with any Belong NBN plan. Belong plans do however include pre-configured, ready-to-use modems.

What happens if I want to cancel my Belong NBN plan?

If you want to cancel your Belong NBN plan and have signed a 12-month contract, you will be charged an early termination fee. The maximum fee is $240, and this decreases by $20 for each month you stay with Belong.
