Service Description
This Belong's NBN plan includes a residential grade Fixed Line broadband service on the NBN network.
NBN Fixed Line Internet is the next generation broadband technology delivered via fibre optic cables. Fibre optic broadband is capable of delivering superfast broadband speed.
Equipment Requirement
With this plan, you’ll need a modem that’s compatible with the nbn. You can either BYO modem or purchase a modem from Belong at an upfront cost of $80 or $7 per month for 12 months.
Other Features
Manage Account: You can keep track of your usage online by logging in to your account on Belong's website. They will also send you alerts when you are approaching your monthly data usage limit.
$0 Standard Activation: You’ll pay nothing for standard activation if no extra cabling or trenching is required. If such work is required, extra costs may apply.
No peak or off-peak limits: There is no peak or off peak periods, so you have the freedom to use your data your way, whenever you want.
Change Plan: You can change your data allowance to another size available to your fixed term plan at any time but only once a month.
Service Availability
Belong NBN service is available in selected areas. Additional connection charge applies for non-standard activations. nbn® is a trademark of nbn co Limited and is used under licence. There is a limit of one Belong service per household. Belong is a division of Telstra Corporation Limited ABN 33 051 775 556.
Minimum cost $150. Typical evening download speeds between 7pm-11pm. Actual speeds may be lower and will be confirmed post-connection for FTTC. Only available at addresses connected with HFC, FTTP/C and some FTTN/B/C.

Belong only sells NBN plans. It previously used to offer ADSL, but these have been discontinued. You can get Belong NBN plans on NBN 25, NBN 50 and NBN 100 speed tiers. All of Belong's plans are available on a contract-free basis. You can choose to BYO Modem or purchase one which will set you back $60 upfront.

Once you've picked the plan that works best for you and your family, you can place an order directly with Belong online. Belong will help you to organise an installation date and time, plus take care of transferring any current broadband plan you may have over to their own NBN service.
Belong will provide you with a NBN-ready modem as part of your plan.
Another important thing to note: while installation is free for most customers, if you're located in a newly developed area with no existing telecommunications infrastructure, you may be charged a $300 New Development Fee by NBN Co.

Do I need to buy a new modem to sign up to Belong?
If you already have a NBN-ready modem or router that is suitable for your technology type, you can use it with any Belong NBN plan. Belong plans do however include pre-configured, ready-to-use modems.
What happens if I want to cancel my Belong NBN plan?
There are no early termination charges when you cancel your plan. If you’ve chosen to pay your modem or New Development Charge (if applicable) in monthly instalments, you may need to pay the remaining amount when you cancel your service.
