Vodafone mobile customers who take up an NBN plan now get a bundle discount of $10 per month.
Previously, Vodafone customers used to get a free upgrade to the next speed tier. Customers could snag an NBN 500 plan for the price of NBN 50, for example. However, in most cases, this only represented a saving of $5 per month.
Customers who opt for an NBN 500 plan or faster save an additional $5 for the first 12 months. Here is how Vodafone's new unbundled and bundled NBN plan pricing compares:
| Unbundled Pricing | Bundled Pricing |
|---|---|
| $84 per month for NBN 25 | $74 per month for NBN 25 |
| $94 per month for NBN 50 | $84 per month for NBN 50 |
| $99 per month for NBN 500 | $84 per month for NBN 500 |
| $104 per month for NBN 750 | $89 per month for NBN 750 |
| $114 per month for NBN 1000 | $99 per month for NBN 1000 |
A $ 10 per month discount is typically the maximum customers can get when bundling NBN and mobile plans with providers like MATE and Amaysim. Bundling with telcos like TPG, Aussie Broadband, and iPrimus will yield a smaller $5 per month discount.
The change comes shortly after Vodafone increased the prices of its mobile plans. This means that Vodafone mobile plans now start at $58 per month, making it $5 more expensive for new customers.
