Vodafone has expanded its business mobile product range with a new suite of plans designed for businesses that need 10 or more connections. Known as Business Advance, all plans come with Vodafone's new endless data inclusion.
For those not yet familiar, here's how endless data works: each plan comes with a set amount of full speed data, followed by an unlimited amount of data speeds capped at 1.5Mbps. These speeds should be fast enough for everyday web browsing and even video streaming in Standard Definition but content may be a little slower than usual to load, particularly during peak times.
Plans come with a choice of BYO handset over a 12 or 24 month contract, or a handset plan over 24 months.
BYO plans come with a choice of:
- 1GB of max speed data for $30 per month
- 10GB of max speed data for $40 per month
Handset plans come with a choice of:
- 20GB of max speed data for $80 per month
- 30GB of max speed data for $100 per month
- 80GB of max speed data for $150 per month
Handset plans come with what Vodafone calls the Tech Fund. This is device credit that can be pooled across all plans on your business account. You can use your device credit to buy mobile phones at any time during the 24 month contract period. The amount of credit that you will receive varies across plans on the Tech Fund.
As well as endless data, Business Advance plans come with a dedicated personal Account Manager and Vodafone's $5 roaming deal. Handset plans come with between 1,000 and 3,000 standard international calling minutes to Zone 1 countries and between 150 and 300 standard international calling minutes to Zone 2 countries, depending on the plan.
While Business Advance plans do not offer data sharing across plans, the plans do allow you to tether, even when using endless data at capped speeds. That means you can use your mobile device as a hotspot to provide WiFi to your laptop, tablet or another device. Definitely handy for those who travel for business and need reliable access to WiFi on the go.
