An extra gig pushes Vaya XL Plan ahead, for a limited time

Vaya has this week increased the data in its XL SIM Only plan, so that the total is now 9GB for $36 per month. But you’ll need to act quickly.

This move by the self-proclaimed “Price Fighter” telco steps ahead of competitors, the closest of which offers 8GB for $34.95, with the same unlimited calls and SMS included.

Unfortunately, this isn’t to be a permanent change to the telco’s pricing, but rather a promotion that will run until the end of March. Anyone who jumps on this plan now will be able to keep the 9GB data inclusion for the life of the plan (until the choose to change plans in the future).

If you follow the ups and downs of phone plan pricing, you’ll know that this price point is incredibly competitive. At the time of writing, there are 19 different phone service providers offering plans with 5GB or more for under $40. Even still, Vaya’s plan stands out as best value for the time being.
