Click Frenzy leads to some insane discounts, and Telstra has blown itself of the water offering one of its best deals to date.
Telstra is taking $10 off all it’s postpaid mobile plans and mobile broadband plans for a whole year, meaning the provider's 30GB mobile plan is down to just $40 a month. Telstra isn't in the habit of discounting its Small plans so this presents a truly affordable way to dip your toe into the Telstra pool.
30GB will usually set you back around $30-$35 with a smaller provider so the extra $5-$10 is a steal for everything Telstra has to offer.
All SIM-only plans are no-contract and include access to Telstra Plus, data-free sport and music streaming with Apple Music, unlimited data capped at 1.5Mbps download speeds, and of course the widest coverage available in Australia. Customers can choose to add on a new handset on a 12, 24 or 36-month payment plan.
If you need more data then you can still take advantage of the discount on the provider's Medium, Large, and Extra Large plans.
Big T’s mobile broadband plans represent incredible value without the discount, especially since a recent rejig saw the included data double in some plans. Taking the $10 monthly reduction into account, customers can now nab 200GB per month for just $65 a month for the first year. Plans now start from $15 for 20GB per month.
After the 12-month term is over all plans will revert to their original pricing, but because they're also contract-free you can leave whenever you want.
These offers are only available for new Telstra customers, so if you’ve been considering a move this seems like a great time to make it.
As an existing Big T subscriber you won’t miss out because Telstra is also cutting the price of Xbox All Access by $5 per month, bringing it down to just $22.
Xbox All Access is a partnership between Telstra and Microsoft that allows customers to add an Xbox One to their mobile or broadband plan. With the offer you’ll also get the Ultimate Game Pass, a game subscription service similar to Netflix for games. The Pass gets you over 100 titles across Xbox and PC.
You can get a 1TB Xbox One S and the Ultimate Game Pass for just $528 across a 24-month plan. Considering the Game Pass is valued at $15.95 per month, the discounted price of the Xbox One S comes down to $145.20. A brand new console for under $200 is a great deal no matter how you slice it.
All offers end May 25, 2020.
