Until February 29, new customers signing up for a new Telstra-powered Tangerine 4G or 5G mobile plan will receive two months of service entirely free. That represents a saving of as much $116 for customers who take out Tangerine's top plan.

Since Tangerine's mobile plans, there's no obligation to stay on your chosen plan after the two months are up. You can drop down to a lower data allowance, or leave entirely.

If a Tangerine mobile plan isn’t for you, you can still take advantage by signing up to a new NBN plan with the provider instead. Customers who take up a new Tangerine NBN plan will save at least $15 off monthly plan fees for the first six months. The savings get as large as $25 on Tangerine's NBN 1000 plan. This offer is available on all speed tiers, and ends February 29.

Tangerine mobile plans operate on the Telstra network, offer a minimum 500GB data banking and are on a no lock-in contract. This means you can leave once the deal expires to find a cheaper or more suitable plan. Tangerine NBN plans offer unlimited data, and you can bring your own modem or buy a new one through the provider.
