Optus is running a promotion on new SIM Plans for the next couple of months, and the savings are outstanding.
$40, $50, $60 and $70 SIM Plans are all half-price, with the two cheaper options discounted for 3 months, while the $60 and $70 plans are half price for the first 6 months.
All plans include unlimited national calls, unlimited text messages within Australia and overseas, plus tiered international call inclusions. Both the $60 and $70 plans include unlimited international calls to 32 countries.
But it is the data in these plans that will be the major drawcard for the promotion, with 3GB, 5GB, 7GB and 10GB available on the plans, respective of the monthly fee.
This means you can get 10GB per month (plus unlimited calls and text) for $35 for the next six months. This is a deal that beats even Kogan Mobile’s cheap $36.90 plan including 5GB data.
And, of course, you don’t need to stick with Optus when your promo period ends. There is no fixed term contract on SIM Plans, so you can leave any time.
The promo will end on January 4 2016, and is only available for new customers.
