Seemingly unable to go more than a month without launching a phone, OPPO's made its super-sized R9s Plus phablet available through Australian retailers. Boasting a 6-inch Full HD display, the R9s is the larger companion device to the 5.5-inch R9s, which went on sale earlier this year.
Notably, the R9s Plus' launch precedes flagship season, hitting market before pricier heavy hitters like LG G6's, Samsung's Galaxy S8, and Huawei's P10.
Key specifications include a 6-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 653 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, a 4,000mAh battery, and 16MP front- and rear-facing cameras. The R9s Plus runs OPPO's take on Android, Color OS 3.0. Color OS 3.0 is based on Marshamllow.
The OPPO R9s Plus is available outright from JB Hi-Fi and Officeworks, priced at $698, or on a contract through Woolworths Mobile.
