Following the recent local launch of its new flagship Find X, OPPO is back with two special editions: the Find X with SuperVOOC and Find X Automobili Lamborghini Edition.
The Find X with SuperVOOC is essentially a Find X with more storage and a faster charging battery. You get 256GB out of the box, and OPPO says you can recharge it from flat to full in just 35 minutes. For comparison, many other fast charging solutions promise to take you from flat to 50% in around half an hour. It will set you back $1,299.
As the name might suggest, the Find X Automobili Lamborghini Edition is a high-end collaboration with Lamborghini. Yes, that Lamborghini. The phone's been refitted with a design inspired by the Italian supercar, has 512GB of storage, the aforementioned SuperVOOC, and comes with wire-free earbuds in the box. The price-tag matches the name: you'll part with $1,998 for OPPO's special edition device.
To celebrate the launch of the super fancy Lamborghini Find X, OPPO is giving one lucky Australian the chance to win the phone and a 35 minute hot lap in an actual Lamborghini. To enter, you simply need to like OPPO Australia on Facebook and comment with your favourite road trip tune on the post embed below. My pick is Cattle Decapitation's 'Pacific Grim'. What a banger.
Entries close on September 25.
If you don't win, you'll be able to get the Lamborghini Find X from JB Hi-Fi next week for $1,998. Alternatively, the SuperVOOC Find X and standard Find X are both available now for $1,299 and $1,099 respectively.

If you're not familiar with the Find X, the handset is OPPO's first "proper" flagship smartphone in four years. With a screen-to-body ratio of almost 94%, is essentially all screen. There's no notch, and there's only the faintest hint of a chin at the bottom of the phone.
In order to achieve this feat, OPPO has hidden the Find X's cameras within the body of the phone; they'll mechanically slide up when needed - reportedly in about half a second. For example, when you launch an app that requires the camera, or when you want to unlock your phone. Much like Apple, OPPO has done away with the fingerprint reader in favour of facial recognition. We've been playing around with a Find X - review coming soon - and it easily has the best facial recognition with seen on an Android device.

Other key specifications for the Find X include a 6.42-inch 1080p+ display, a Snapdragon 845, and a 16MP + 20MP rear-facing camera configuration. There are however two key omissions: you won't find a headphone jack, and the Find X isn't water-resistance, which is unusual for a 2018 flagship but makes sense given the sliding camera configuration.
