Nokia 5

Nokia's trio of new smartphones have started popping up around stores across Australia, just in time for their "late July" launch. The Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3 are now all available to order online through JB Hi-Fi, with "click & collect" showing stock available in most capitals around the country.

Online ordering is also an option, but all three devices are listed as having "limited stock available". If you order online, JB says your order will ship out with five to fifteen days.

Harvey Norman will also be ranging Nokia's new devices, although it doesn't appear to be selling them yet.

If you're interested in one of Nokia's new devices, here's the round up of what's what.

Nokia 6

At the high end is the Nokia 6, touting a 5.5-inch 1080p display and an aluminium unibody. Key specifications include a Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 16MP rear-facing camera, and a 3000mAh battery. It retails for $399.

The Nokia 5 is the middle child, with a 5.2-inch 720p display and an aluminium unibody. Key specifications include a Snapdragon 430 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, a 13MP rear-facing camera, and a 3000mAh battery. It retails for $329.

The Nokia 3 is Nokia's entry level device, and is more about basic essentials. There's still an aluminium frame, but the rear is polycarbonate. Key specifications include a 5-inch 720p display, a MediaTek MTK 6737 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, an 8MP rear-facing camera, and a 2630mAh battery. It retails for $249.

All three phones run a "pure" version of Android Nougat. Nokia has promised that it will provide all its Android smartphones with two years of operating system upgrades and monthly security updates.
