LG's more affordable take on its G6 flagship - the Q6 - is now available in Australian stores retailing for $399. As with the G6, the idea behind the Q6 is plonking a larger display in a small form-factor.
In this case, the Q6 has a 18:9 5.5-inch display that runs as 2160x1080 (as opposed to 1920x1080 as you'd find on a more traditional device) and a minimal amount of bezel.
Key specifications for the Q6 include the 5.5-inch 2160x1080 display, a Snapdragon 430 processor, 32GB of expandable storage, 3GB of RAM, a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 3000mAh battery, and an aluminium frame that looks to be paired with a plastic back. It ships running Android Nougat (7.1.1).
The LG Q6 is available from JB Hi-Fi as of today in a choice of "astro black" or "ice platinum", and wider availability will follow shortly.
